Workshops

She leads contemporary dance workshops, linking movement practice with tools from theatre, improvisation, and composition. Her pedagogical approach articulates physical training with processes of creation and artistic research, understanding technique as a means of producing material rather than as an end in itself.

Within this framework, she has developed workshops such as Fingir demencia, which emerges directly from her creative process in her solo piece. In this work, physical training —and in particular sweat, persistence, and accumulation— functions as a starting point to access states of heightened availability. Through improvisation and compositional scores, the workshop explores ways of pushing movement habits beyond their limits and activating presences shaped by saturation, dispersion, and autofiction.

She has also led the workshop Jugando con la estructura, together with Maite Scala, where support, holding, and bodily relations are explored through the practice soft structures for resistant practices; and Bailando el personaje, where character building is approached through body and movement, understanding dance as a poetic and expressive space in itself, capable of generating narratives, imaginaries, and forms of stage presence.

Since 2019, she has shared her workshops in various spaces across Montevideo and Spain, including Espacio de Desarrollo Armónico, CROMA – Center for Contemporary Practices, Casalmargen, GEN – Center for Arts and Sciences, and Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastian.
