Blanda sostiene is a contemporary dance piece that emerges from a series of practices developed by the collective formed by Maite Scala, Mila Richeri, and Emilia Márquez. Gathered under the title “Soft Structures for Resistant Practices,” this research explores support and holding as central axes of both movement and relationality.

The piece approaches dance as a space of accompaniment, where softness is not understood as fragility but as a flexible, sensitive, and available quality. Within this framework, softness becomes a form of strength: a capacity to adapt, to hold, to contain, and to care for the other.
Through the body and relational experience, Blanda sostiene explores modes of resistance that emerge from care and interdependence. A shared support that finds its strength not in rigidity, but in versatility and in the ability to hold space for another.
