El agua tiene algo para enseñarnos sobre estar juntes

Water has something to teach us about being together unfolds through practices and compositions grounded in collaboration, support, breathing, permeability, and attuning to one another’s rhythm. It emerges from intuitions slowly cooked in the heat of the collective, and unfolds through encounters with other bodies, other imaginaries, other circumstances—tracing actions and poetics that seek to engage with relationality, interspecies connections, affect, and love.

How do we collaborate? How do we be together? How do we help one another breathe, to stay in breath? How do we hold each other’s heads, lean into one another, carry each other’s weight? How do we become involved?

This piece is part of the project Practices for Not Drowning, a series of collaborations with close artistic peers. It unfolds through dialogues, exchanges, texts, practices, and reflections that move between animals and humans, beings and their habitats—through symbiotic and mutual processes, through friendships, loves, families, and militancies. A weaving of cooperation and collaboration, of living entanglements and forms of resistance.
